MAJ Baldwin was wounded in two separate IED attacks in Iraq. His TBI symptoms did not emerge until a year later. Within three years he was paraplegic and could not speak. He was a West Point grad and a revered 10th SFG ODA commander.
His mother is Fran Wesseling; she became involved with the Green Beret Foundation following her son's diagnosis and is now on its Board of Directors. She is the person who resides in Cincinnati and manages the annual golf and formal dinner fundraisers for GBF.
Fran will deeply appreciate your attendance. Please reply here if you PLAN TO attend. Dress is casual, but something SF would be appreciated, such as beret.
